The 16th annual meeting of the German military Working Group of Surgical Medical Officers will be held January 7 – 9, 2009 in Papenburg, Germany.

Topics will focus on surgery techniques during military deployment with emphasis on orthopedic trauma and unusual case studies.

ARCHIS 2009

The German military 4th annual Tactical Combat Casualty Care symposium will be held June 3 – 5, 2009 in Pfullendorf, Germany. This meeting is held in cooperation with the Association of German Military Medical Officers. The focus will be on TCCC Guidelines for 2008, international experiences from the United States Special Operations Medical Association and emergency medicine in tactical environments.
